So here I am with my illusionist pc and the canon party, we are all XP capped having cleared everything and wielding +3 weapons
I cheesed my way through tazok and the likes of him with cloudkill
My party is hasted, blessed and under the effects of Potion of Storm Giant strength and i'm tanking him for quite some time with fireshield on,also he stepped on the maximum number of traps and I have used the level 5 summon monster spell for the maximum amount of summons allowed(the summons are also hasted)
I swear he's life never drops below barely injured(though he isn't damaging me too hard) no matter what I do he regenerates too fast,my spell run off and he eventually starts killing my party slowly, but the guy is invurneable so speed is not much of an issue
is this normal? or is the canon part lacking in damage? I cannot think of any other way to deal more damage to him...
pff,i once thought I was good in this game when I was completing everything on insane without cheese, guess I'll have to reconsider!

1. Sarevok's haste can be dispelled. Try an arrow of dispelling or two, or a spell.
2. The enemies do not have any immunities except Tazok, who gets barbarian rage.
Concentrate on one enemy at a time. None of them are really hard hitters in the same league as Sarevok, so it's useful to keep him distracted. Use darts of stunning to knock out anyone you don't want to fight, so that you can concentrate on who you want to take out.
Stun lock or attack Semaj first. He is easiest to hit and easiest to remove from the field. Then Angelo and Diarmid, who have ranged weapons. Go for Angelo second, as he is the second most lightly armoured. Diarmid is third priority because he can deal damage at range. Sarevok and Tazok are not important, as long as you can keep them running. Reposition often.
Personally, I'd argue that the fight at the top of the Iron Throne is harder than the battle with Sarevok, so the same tactics you used there can work here as well.
Potion:
Fighters: Heroism, Invulnerability, Storm Giant, Oil of Speed, Mind Focusing, Clarity and Magic Shielding.
Everyone else, Potion of Defense and potion of Invisibility just in case they get targeted.
Spells: Protection from Evil, Bless, Chant, Mirror Image, Stone Skin, Improved Invisibility.
Pretty much an overkill for that fight.
