BG1 Question about books

Hi all, loving all the books but wanting to read them in the right order..
Is there a resource outside the game that lists them?
Any help appreciated

I'm assuming they are all "backstory" and not related to specific quests
Is there ever any "game" value in opening each one or is it just a case of reading them for background interest?

I always liked to read and collect them because they add some nice flavour to the game. Some editions I would only read in the correct order though (History of Shadowdale, History of the North, History of Waterdeep, etc).

You can read them here (and see their significance to the game: http://baldursgate.wikia.com/wiki/Books)

In the common books there is no relevant game info, you have some special books witch are important but you will recognize them

This site lists them (all?) and you can read them there http://baldursgate.wikia.com/wiki/Books so there is no need to read them ingame.

Some books are really good, especially History of the Dead Three: 'KNUCKLEBONES, SKULL BOWLING, AND THE EMPTY THRONE' it’s a must read!
