Two things I'd appreciate clearing up:

1) Items which grant extra spells (Metaspell Amulet, Circlet of Nethoril, etc) - Do these just grant extra 'casts'? And do they require resting to 'charge' in the same way as Mages' memorisation process? (Rather than allowing cheesy unequip-reequip exploitation.)

2) High Level Abilities - Do these just get added to 'known' spells at 9th Circle, with the same number of casts? Or do they have to replace known 9th spells?

Probably a bit obvious... but I'm having a dumb day...

    Wow, I never really thought about the sorcerer's ninth level spell slots before, but having HLA's added to casting without having to give up another ninth level spell makes them even more powerful than I thought. No wonder people love sorcerers so much.

    Sorcerors will eventually get every level "10" spell in addition to their 9th level ones (with the current level cap I believe you get 4 level 9 spells at max level). This does indeed make them extremely powerful, since the key disadvantage of the class (limited spell choice) doesn't apply to several of the most powerful spells in the game.
