Shadow's Blade +3 reverts to Short Sword+3 in Guildhall

Just wanted to post a strange occurrence. Still in ch2 of my game, got the Shadow's Blade +3 from one of the added merchants from (I think) Rogue Re-balancing from either Slums or Waukeens areas. Went to Docks area, entered the Shadow Thief Guildhall and climbed the stairs to 2nd floor (where Renal Bloodscalp is), and the sword reverted to a magical short sword - which when id'd was a standard +3 ss.

I have every mod on the compatible mods list installed except Ascension, Item Randomizer, Vampire Tales, and all of the NPC/romance mods.

Just curious if anyone else has had similar issues, and if any mod authors might recognize any potentially bigger problems I might be on course for.

Also, just finished the guild quest for Renal, and received no Short Sword of Backstabbing (tho I still had the reverted +3 Short Sword in my bag, so I guess it evened out.)
