Manual questions

So far I read that max is 2,950,000XP(Multi and Dual). But on youtube Ive seen players with more than that?
What is the XP/lvl limit?
I recall from PlayersHandbook(PHB), that nonhuman race had a lvl limit and human didn't, I havn't found anything about this here?

When playing forexample a human fighter. 9lvl is 250,000XP. (Max dice HP gain right?)

If you then deside to dual to cleric, do you then start all over with XP, so the clerics max will be 2,950,000XP or 2,700,000XP. I know you start with 1lvl when dual to new class.

Quote:"FinneousPJ":BG2EE comes with ToB where the XP limit is 8 000 000.

Quote:"Yamcha":There are modified files that uncap the XP limit, so you can reach up to level 40 (40/40/40 f/m/t e.g.).

If your fighter is pecialized(special or M,GM), in a cleric weapon, forexample maze, would the cleric then gain XP when using this weapon?
Will the cleric be enable to use the fighters specialization? Or how does this Works now?

Attach, as far as I can see the fighter can't attack farster than 2 APR(PHB said 5/2 for GM) due to spesialization. Then at lvl 7 come 1/2 APR from specialization, giving 5/2 APR right?

A fighter at 9lvl with 18con, have 126HP.
If changing to cleric would the HP gain start again from lvl, cleric lvl 10? -> 128HP? This is much higher than normal cleric at lvl 10 -> 92HP.

Thank you for reading. And I might add, more questions later ;-)

So far I got this manuals, are there other?

Link is somewhere in the forum or via google

Oh, and its "so far" , not "fare". Fare is like a fee

Ok thank you, english is my second language.
I tried searging for lvl limit, ect. on forum with no luck, maybe it's me asking the "wrong question" ;-)

The original BG2 XP limit probably was the 2,950,000XP you're quoting. However, BG2EE comes with ToB where the XP limit is 8 000 000.

The manual generally is pretty short of details and essential tables. Refer to

For a good overview of XP and other tables

This site you recommend is very good, BUT the BG manuals are awesome! In this digital age, you are lucky if you get a 2 page leaflet ^^

@Yamcha True, but for someone who has played since PnP 1st edition the reference part is the most important one. I have to admit that I have not read most of the manual for lack of need but have browsed for tables that I mostly couldn't find. :)

Which tables are missing that you'd like to see? I can't promise anything, but it'd be good to know for future reference.

XP progression tables for each level including past the XP cap of 8 millions.
Complete information for spell descriptions and full listing of HLAs per Pool.

What CrevsDaak said plus Spell progression incl. spells known for sorcerers.

Int table lacks the max. spell level (or better remove that mechanism alltogether)

I concur with @CrevsDaak and @Skaffen. HLAs description would be really useful. Any chance the manual be updated?
Limit experience also isn't mentioned (just that there is one, not the actual amount).

    @Gimle
Really? Do you mean no new spell slots, or no new HLA spell? Mage HLAs are incredibly powerful (Improved Alacrity, Timestop, Planetar... etc) and are already the most powerful class in the endgame.

What I found, with Multi-class characters especially, was that even if they have access to HLA spells (AKA quest spells, AKA lv10 spells), it was useless until they had access to lv9 spell slots, which they won't have until 6M xp. But I think that's fine because mages are so powerful as is, and it's nice to have characters that are still progressing and improving so late into the game.

What I mean "Spell Progression". Sorry if that wasn't clear enough ;-)
    Hope its clear now ;-)

But hey: Wouldn't it be cool with Dark Sun, spell casters. Both Preist and Wizard have 9th lvl spells. Wezards become superbeing(past 20th lvl they starts transforming I think).
Preist can choose to be an element (past 20th lvl they starts transforming I think).
Some superspells, takes I think more than a week to prepair, if interrupted, all preperations is lost.
(Just a Little thougt now that we "talk" about HLA).

Wizards got really powerful at level 16, when they start to cast lvl8 spells, anyway they are powerful trough all the game.
