Can't Use Custom Portrait for CHARNAME?

Hello folks.

For the purposes of context, I am stupid. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use a custom portrait for my character (as you probably guessed from the thread title) for BG2EE. I had no problem with BGEE. When I go into Appearance to select a portrait, there's no option for Custom like there was in BGEE. Am I missing something very obvious here? Thank you for any help you can offer.

    BG2:EE and BG:EE use different portrait folders. Did you create a "\portraits" folder under "Documents\Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition"?
