(spoilers) Where is Hayes?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
There was a brief dialouge box mentioning him in trademeet after i rescued the mages.... I THINK... but ive got no quest to point me to where he is. I've checked the tavern in trademeet. Where is he after the wild mages are rescued? I feel the urge to hunt him down so he gets whats coming for him

    I thought he was in the tavern at trademeet near the bar could be wrong tho it was awhile ago that I played this game now

    No he should be there getting drunk at the bar.

    he should be in Vyaltri's tavern (the same you got the beer for Mironda in), right at the bar...
    did you already talked to Telana and got his robe?

    yeah got the robe, couldnt find him in the pub tho.
