Chaos makes characters so confused they forget they were dead.

In the Black Pits, Chaos can apparently affect dead characters, who will rise up and start running around confused. When the spell runs out, they die again. This happened to me on the Fire Giant level of BP1. I cast the spell and it affected a character of mine who had 21 Con due to Draw Upon Holy Might. There are apparently two bugs here: one, Chaos is affecting a friendly character, who is also dead, and two, being dead is not trumping being confused.

    Perhaps in all the confusion, they became living dead.

    Oh, this should be because everyone is knocked to 1 HP and not totally killed.
    Chaos shouldn't affect your party either....
    @golingarf do you have any mods installed/done any edits?

    No, I believe that was with my unmodded installation, but I'm not 100% sure. It could have been the one with SCS. I doubt if that's what did it though - SCS doesn't affect the black pits if I understand correctly.

    Mm, well, I've never installed SCS on BG:EE so I don't know. Maybe SCS affects Chaos... Try in both games (modded and unmodded) and tell me in which one it happens.
