Okay, so i have played a few games and have a general understanding of what to do.
i import two very high level characters with awesome items
The first is an elven priest of talos (7), lawful evil. Base Stats are STR 17, DEX 8, CON 17, INT 9, WIS 19, CHA 18
The second character is an elven mage (7)/ thief (8), neutral good. Base stats are STR 11, DEX 19, CON 12, INT 18, WIS 11, CHA 18
TOOOOONS of high level items.

! MINOR SPOILER ALERT !
So i've been thinking about the implications of importing high level characters.
i don't know if anyone else agrees with me, but Baeloth is insanely good. i mean, freaking retarded. i have a few reasons.
EQUIPMENT
Assuming you import, you have plenty magical items at your disposal, and one thing sorcerers excel at is having a large amount of spells per level they can cast. It's a small list of spells Sorcerers can have, but Baeloth, i find, has a good set of spells. i have found several items that allow you to memorize more spells per level. Ah, for example, "The Amplifier." i'm not sure where you get it, but its a necklace allows you to remember one more second level spell. Another item, a ring, "Evermemory" allows you to DOUBLE your first level spells. A beautiful thing is that you can wear them both.
HASTE
Arguably the best spell in the game. You move faster and attack faster, so going through a small dungeon is a breeze. It's great for city crawling too, so you can get from place to place quickly. It also lasts for a decent time. Do not underestimate this spell!
IDENTIFY
Some people like having it around, some don't care. i like to identify items to sell when the party is strapped for cash. Baeloth can memorize up to TEN Identifies (equipment pending)
The trick of obtaining Baeloth however, is that you must be level 5 or over. This is where importing comes in. You can IMMEDIATELY set off to find Baeloth in Larswood, and since you're importing it makes it easier to deal with some of the nastier creatures and Black Talon mercs.
! SPOILER ALERT !
However, when you meet him, there are some heavy spoilers for the Black Pits, so if you don't want that ruined, i suggest playing Black Pits first.
So yeah, huge rant on that. But hey, if you think importing makes things too easy, that's fine too! Still some useful information in there, i think.
