Having slow downs, lockups and the like

Hi, I just switched everyone over to my laptop. Problem is now I have some weird lag issues. This is most obvious when I save. Before it was so quick, now it freezes for 5 seconds. Very annoying.

Also there are some frame rate issues when there is a lot on screen.

What can I do?
