Druid Stealth Form?

I was wondering if it was possible to create a Druid animal form that uses the thief template, with the option to stealth and an included backstab multiplier. I recall hearing of a mod which let thieves transform into bards and back again, though I'm not sure if it was ever completed or made EE compatible. Or is this simply as impossible as giving a Kensai the ability to sing Bard songs?

    Just checked out that bard/thief switch mod. Looks possible, but complicated.
