I have yet to meet any dwarf named "Kaigan" in the series.

I like Yeslick, but as I revealed the in the cleric thread, he loses out to Branny. Korgan has got the hots for Mazzy and respects Keldorn, so that makes him OK in my book :)

    + all those Berserker perks!

Yer askin' me ta choose between three sons o' Moradin an' that's fair not a bit. Me vote goes fer Yeslick once again fer his faith and his compassion. A finer dwarf was rarely see on the Sword Coast.

truth be told I don't really like any of the dwarves in this series very much even though its one of my favourite races

I picked Korgan just because he has some cool banters especially with Mazzy

Yeslick wins this one easily for me. As I said in the cleric thread, I wish he were a choice in BG2.

Korgan makes me laugh, and I want to like him, but he's just too darned abusive to certain party members, like Jaheira. I never know just how seriously to take his constant threats of violence. At first, I thought I might be detecting some sexual tension between Jaheira and him, but then I started to fear that they were about to come to blows and try to kill each other.

I often take him and want to use him, and I help him get his book, and I plan to take him through the game, but then I always wind up having to dismiss him before he hurts somebody. Since I play good, I can't go along with what he insists we do about Valygar, either.

I wish he weren't evil, because he's arguably the most powerful melee fighter in the game, and he can do a controlled berserk (unlike Minsc), with all those immunities. He's the only npc who can laugh at a demi-lich.

Kagain by a long shot! Love him.

I really dislike his personality, but those axes! He swings them too well!!

I voted Yeslick just because I always get the other two mixed up.

Berserker with grand mastery with Axes? I'm not going to pick any of the others!

Yeslick and his amazing 7 INT (lower than Minsc!!) Played with him recently, I'm so used to the canon party I forgot how useful cleric spells are!

Honourable mention to Kagain for his medieval mafia don personality.

Mostly my opinion comes from mechanical considerations.

I don't usually take Yeslick because I prefer to get my party set very early. If he were available near the start of the game I'd definitely consider him, Fighter/Cleric is a great class (and Dwarf is a great race for it both mechanically and for flavor) even if his stats are a bit underwhelming.

So for me it comes down to Kagain and Korgan. They both fill about the same role, awesome CON and respectable DEX means they make great tanks. Korgan gets an awesome kit and exceptional strength, though, so I definitely prefer him mechanically. He does conflict with Aerie who I enjoy using (Cleric/Mage is a very fun combo), so he's not a guaranteed pick, but I wouldn't dream of skipping him if I don't take her.

I like all 3. Korgan gets the vote on the basis of most fleshed out due to being BG2.

    Still, we need more dwarves!

Montaron deserves entry into this poll! :) He has just never struck me as a Halfling. He sounds, acts, and looks much more like a Dwarf, in my opinion

Korgan. Berserker check... Evil check... Dwarf, check! What else are you waiting for, already?

@booinyoureyes That's almost spot on for the female dwarven skald NPC I came up with, except her ability was a reduced song while attacking and the NPC-NPC romance was between her and Mazzy. We really need to make such an NPC mod happen.

I use Yeslick more than the other two, but I have used them all...the thing is I play Dwarves so much and usually they would just duplicate a party role that I would rather give to a thief/cleric/mage or something more utility-like.

I like Yeslick's personality the best but the party alwyays seems to be full by the time I get to the Cloakwood mines. So I never use him. Kagain is good to place on point due to his regenerating Con, plus he's great with an axe.

Yeslick. As I like drowning Neera in the mine.

Who do YOU leave to die in a flooded mine?

Also the last of the Mohicans soundtrack always plays in my mind when we get ambushed and Yeslick, the last of his clan, dies.
