Neera TOB quest collecting items from first battle

i do not wish to move on any further until I have this figured out. after the ambush in the clearing you are teleported to the black pits, but problem is neera died at the clearing fight and after reviving her we won before she could pick up her gear. has anybody lost a party member here and know if I can return and if I will make it before the gear leaves? or perhaps somebody could tell me how to console to the clearing and back to the pits to pick up her items

also unrelated but I don't want to make another topic. i may have never noticed this, but do beholders drain chargers from items? i notice my items that I never used such as wands have disappeared or are severely drained, and I came from watchers keep where there are beholders in one of the orb machine fights and the hive mother as part of one of the parties after you put in the keys. i have SCS and ascension installed if any of those are responsible for that

If i remember well, you come back to the ambush area at the end of the quest, but i'm not 100% sure.

After I finished the quest I was teleportes back to the clearing and all the items from the guys I killed were still there. I would assume your equiment woukd be there too.

ah thank you both. i guess I will get back to it then. at least a mage isn't at too much of a disadvantage without their items
