What does the spellcaster say?

When casting spells it seems that they say an enchantment, some being different to others. Can anyone translate this (from probably elvish) or is it all gobbledegook?

It's actually Latin! Vita and Mortis are Latin words for "life" and "death." Not sure what the others are off the top of my head, but there's a whole thread discussing this that I looked up in the past...
Lemme find it...

Found it!

Side-note: whenever I fight a Mage and I hear "SCIO" I know that a True Sight spell is inbound and I can adjust tactics for the round accordingly.

We seriously need another dead language here people, Latin is taking on too much at once. It needs a break.

>:D
Anyway I think that using Sindarin or Quenya for that is much better.
Minsc goes pow,
Imoen goes sneak
And Boo goes squeak
Cernd goes howl
Bodhi goes prowel
And then Lilarcor goes “blood”
Ribold sell,
Yoshimo croak…
And Noober goes Hey – ya – Hey,
But there’s one sound that no one knows
