Only one companion at a time?

For some reason I can only have one person join me at a time. When I first started which was last week I was able to have two without it crashing too much.

Yeah my group had that problem as well. We use Hamachi instead, it's more or less stable for a group of 4 or 5.

What is Hamachi if I may ask?
