Differences between ini files?

I just downloaded Baldurs Gate II from the App store and went to enable the Console. Is there only one Baldur.ini file for both BG:EE AND BGII:EE? Because the one for BG:EE is already enabled and I can get the Console to work on BG. But I can't find the one for BGII and if there is only one, the console doesn't work for BGII.

    There's a Baldur.ini file for each game in their respective Documents folders.

    Thank you for your reply. But I cannot find the BGII folder. On my MAC there is a Baldurs Gate EE Folder in Documents found in Finder where the ini file is, but I have looked everywhere and cannot find the BGII folder, let alone the BGII ini file. Please help!!!

    Try running BGII:EE and then looking again. It should be in the same location as the BG:EE folder, only called Baldur's Gate II - Enhanced Edition.
