[DUPE, CRASH] universe conspired against me finishing this game

k so I didn't play Bg2EE for like a week, open it up today, and for some reason every time I hit the inventory button everything shuts down and my laptop goes to fuck....I hope that with these attatched files someone out there will be able to help me..

    If the universe conspired against you probably your computer should had exploded or a meteorite should had fallen over you.
