Neera Wild Surge Cow (seemingly) aggroed entire map

Was in the area north of lighthouse/south of Candlekeep doing Shoal the Nereid. Magic Missile with both PC and Neera when Neera Wild Surged a Cow. Finished the fight fine, however, on continued exploration, it seems like we aggroed entire map (including The Surgeon & Mad Arcand who we lost 7 rep from upon death). What on earth happened here? Did we aggro the entire map with this or did we just find a crazy glitch?

    Summon Cow sometimes affects the whole map, it's a weird spell caused by a wild surge, so... I might look at it later with NI.

    Also, there are two scrolls of Summon Cow in the game, one of them kills all the NPCs in the area instantly, no save no nothing.

    @jackjack yes, and they add the same spell, Summon Cow, a level two spell, which it's description says "This spell speaks for itself, baby".

    @Neeber they are SCRLZY and SCRLZZ, SCRLZY cast the auto-kill over all the area and SCRLZZ casts it normally at lvl5.
    EDIT: They were eaten by a Werebear or by a Werepandaspiderslime, whichever you prefer.
