Need help uploading images to this forum

If anyone can help I'd be appreciative. No idea where to put this post for help.
Trying to upload images to my favorite page on here, i.e. Minimal Reload Challenge..., but it has become difficult now where it used to be easy. I have tried recently changing my regular bmp images to jpeg but this doesn't seem to be of any use. Every NOW & THEN one will 'pop-in' like old times but usually they just sit there, 'uploading' but never actually do.
Images are 800x600, the bmps are 1.37 MB and the JPEG 800x600, 268 KB. I've tried reducing them to 75% too.
Like I said, been doing this for a couple of years or so w/no prob. Computers running like a charm so looking for any tips that might get me back over the top.
Have entries I want to make but like to add images to spice things up a bit.
Any help? Please let me apologize if this post is misplaced or if the topic is elsewhere. I looked but couldn't find anything &...as long as I'm searching I'm not playing BG!
