Consequences of removing party member

Hi,
i was wondering if there are any consequences of removing a random party member from the party?
i know that if u remove a romanced character, the romance end but what about normal npcs?
do their random banter change or reset or anything?

    Some will leave for good, some will remain where you ditch them, some will go back to a certain location and wait if you pick them up again. Their banters never change though.

    One more question, does removing a party member break their questline? Like if i remove dorn before completing every quest he has available.

    No, you can pick up later where you left off.
