Red Stats?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Why are some of my stats (STR,INT,ETC..) in the player record red? Is it the stat adjustment from their race?

    They are modified by a spell (/curse /drain) or item.

    Miscellaneous modifiers. For example ability drains or buffing spells/items.

    As above said, race adjustment is factored in permanently and invisibly from the beginning into the base score.
