Badiyat's Tomb: Statue, silk and lamp? *spoilers*

So i just finished Badiyat's tomb as part of Hexxat's quest and i found the chest that contains a scimitar +1, a gold statue of a boy and a bolt of silk, i completed the tomb without incedentso what was or am i supposed to do with them?

    Or, alternatively, carry them around throughout the whole saga wondering if they'll come in handy.

    Of course I did. Whoever could possibly need 100K gold at that point in the game? There's nothing reasonable you could do with it.
