So, I fought off the attacking force, got the experience from the Master of Combat trigger...but what happens from here?

    You're in an area where you meet with other monks in some kind of arena? IIRC you're spoken about a hidden temple, or you must loot a note which contains the map... well, either of these things update your world map, that's your next destination... to the north.

    I'm AT the temple, already fought off the Sharrans...and gotten the experience from defending the temple...but just don't know what to do next, or if nothing else happens until ToB.

    Ahh ok... I've only done that quest once, I got to the point as you did, and Rasaad said he would stay there for some time... I want to find out by myself, and I'm guessing that in ToB is the rest of the content.

    Yeah, he expressed concern that his BBEG got away, and then nothing else was mentioned.
