What has been your greatest moment in BG?

I needed to make this thread to just express my absolutely joy. When BG2EE came out I made sure to install SCS as it was already working and made my way through with it on insane. That time is passed and it was fun, but when I got to TOB I had more waiting for me... ascension!
This has been my second full saga playthrough (yeah I am quite new I started a bit before the EE announcement) and I was taking on a lot from the start. But SCS+ascension+insane difficulty makes me feel like a veteran. My first attempt I actually had to give up with ascension in vanilla, but that didn't scare me away. I came to take on the challenge again, only this time with more! I made it through the rest of TOB again but this time with a lot less deaths. Today I reached the final fight.
We came in and swiftly destroyed Irenicus and Bodhi, and getting Imoen back as well. Now it was time for the corners, and it wasn't an easy task due to a bug stopping me from saving between the fights. I will sadly admit that after so many times getting easily through this just to be stopped at the final section, I used cheats to kill them immediately which somehow bypassed the bug and I could save before the end.
In comes Melissan with the five, but I did not expect to see Sarevok. Guess I should have remembered to make him good, but it was too late now. My party was f/t, Jaheira, Minsc, Viconia, Imoen, and Neera, and I didn't want to drop one when I had enough melee power. I remembered what happened last time though and went straight for Illesara and Abazigal, while Balthazar tanked the other side. We quickly dispatch Abazigal and I had Balthazar finish Illesara during a time stop. Yaga Shura is quickly defeated by a harm, Gromnir requires a little beating down, and I actually forgot about Sendai. We began pummeling Mel, sending her back to get more escense and this continued until I saw Sendai and remembered to kill her.
Now things got interesting... Melissan summoned about 20-30 enemies right around her as charname, Minsc and Jaheira were at working beating her down. Poor Minsc died earlier so he was also without armor. It was a moment of panic as I watched them all spawn, almost certain doom. Imoen and Neera quickly made chain contingency: triple horrid wilting, killing about half and allowing an escape path.
In a desperate attempt to survive we ran to a corner and summoned an elemental to block the path. We were ever so lucky to receive Sunnis, who could block most the the path. It was an intense battle as we were cornered, and it seemed more were spawning. Eventually it settled and we saw Melissan amongst them. We began to beat her down again, but she began to flee!
We found her in another corner summoning more minions. It was apparently my great plan to hold out, but it eventually seemed the spawning would not cease. We went in once and were forced to retreat as we took massive damage. We went again and did some more but we were driven back again, and almost defeated. Eventually there was only one Alo-fiend, a good chance to get in and do some more. She went from badly injured to near death, more spawns came in and Jaheira and Minsc retreated again under critical damage while charname had hardiness and stoneskin up. He was beginning to take serious damage when Melissan dropped, and the screen began to fade.
Never before have I felt the urge to jump from my chair and let out a victory scream! The battle probably took about an hour (on this attempt, not all of the attempts) and it was finally over. This was a true challenge that many call the only way they would play throne of bhaal, and I feel great after beating it but not just that, but SCS and insane difficulty made ascension just harder. Everybody survived in the end and I am left feeling extremely accomplished, and wanted to think of a meaningful way to make a thread to share this.
So I ask you, fellow forumites, what is one of those moments in BG that made you feel great. That moment where your skills were tested and you succeeded. Not that you need to go into so much detail, but I would like to see what others have felt was an accomplishment in BG
tldr: I did something that I felt awesome doing and had to share. Feel free to share your own experience

I did beat the game once, only once, on SCS+Ascension. This was on core rules, and after hours of reloading. I came to feel as if the game had cast the spell Emotion: Hopelessness on me.
Naturally I was more than pleased when my Elven fighter/thief and (most of) her comrades in arms were still standing after Mel had been defeated. I remember it was quite a "physical" party, with Imoen as my only mage, Vicky, Sarevok and Valygar. And Imoen I think had to run for her life most of the time, rather than control the battefield with chain contingencies, spell triggers, comets and what not. The key to success, I remember, was to focus on Mel, and not to get sidetracked by the summons.
Nowadays I almost only play no re-load, so I don't generally make it into TOB. I find joy however in the narrow escapes. In my penultimate playthrough (SCS core difficulty), posted about on this forum, my cleric/thief (with mediocre AC and thac0) survived this:
Had to use all my resources, potions, cleric spells, and creativity to make it against an overwhelming majority of hard-hitting foes, and succeeded. Playing no-reload is a humbling experience. One moment you feel you're doing great, and then all of a sudden it's game over lol...
I did do a no reload before though, in the random game thread for BG1. Lets say after a lot of cheese because I was lucky to have rolled kagain for the group I managed to succeed in that. I will likely continue the character I used for that run now that I am finished this intense game and I need to uninstall the mods for my multiplayer game anyway. He can continue with no reload on core vanilla and see if he is destined to go to the end.
Boy, did he peg it. And such perfect timing.
I had bought the DVD version in 1999, and had avidly browsed the printed manual and poured over the folded maps that came with the game, including the big one of BG city. So I knew that a ton of content awaited me there. I worked late hours at the time, and I remember it was like 1AM and my wife was already asleep; so I could not let out a victory whoop, but I did internally, lol.
Probably when I killed Jon Irenicus in the Blood Throne with Ascencion+SCS, it took me a while of reloading, but dyer 6 hours I managed to kill him!

For those willing to read it. Sadly, I have had very few "THAT WAS AWESOME!" combat moments mostly due to a lack of focus and skill when it comes to combat, though more then once I grinned at Imoen casting breach and my paladin dispelling all other magic with his super powered super sword. Still, my journey as my Bhaalspawn paladin was very fun and I made many small little stories and ideas with him. I might even go through a second playthrough as him. For now though, I am a bard.
