I die every time I face sarevok. After I righteously slay the shape shifting two faced doppelgängers

I just seem to die for some reason I cannot see. Do I have to kill sarevok or do I have to flee and kill him another time? Someone help me as I'm truly baffled. Thank you fellow cloak wearers.

    My guess is Winski Perotati, he's scripted to kill you if you attack Belt.

    He is better faced with strategy than with force. Ive had trouble sometimes still as engaging with the tool is not something you want to do. He's stronger than every fighter in the game and the best thing to do is strategize. Let the Flaming Fist mercs gang up on him and do little skirmish attacks on him. I faced with party of 2 and beat this game a half a dozen times once I found his tactics. Let the character with high armor take the heat while a deadlier melee combatant bum rushes from side. As soon as he goes to attack you, run away that char and rinse repeat. With that being done and Mercs bum rush and gangbanging him, he will run away. Thats the best strategy for him. I dont know many that can keep up with him in melee without doing anything else. Once you find the tactics you can beat him with a party of 6 or a party of 1. Your choice.

    also if both the dukes die during the doppleganger fight you die no matter what you do

    Buff before the fight. Majorly buff, get close to the Dukes, and hot Sarevok with Doom spells and various debuffs as your best melee fighters take him on. Once you get down to the Undercity, Spam him with Monster Summoning Spells and have everyone arrow/spell spam him (and the other Spellcasters). Cast Cloudkill where the rest of them are standing and just don't close with him (or use Potions of Invulnerability to prevent damage as much as you can).

    During my solo attempts, i usually worry about saving the dukes, then rely on distractions to help me out. He does crazy damage per round if your ac isnt nuts, but afaik he has no backstab protection. A rogue csn bs with the DoV, and he wont last long.
