Premade Characters

I'd like to see a quicker path available to get through character creation... premade characters! Provide the player with 3 to 5 sufficiently powerful characters she can pick and start the game with.

Of course, one (or more) of the characters should have an 18/00 strength.

Each premade character should have a cool name and portrait. As an added bonus, each character could come with a quick back story.

There are already pre-made characters for both BG and BG2 (and TOB, now that I think of it). I don't know that I like the idea of the pre-gen characters having their own backstories, but I'm not particularly opposed to it.

Really? How do you get 'em?

When you're creating your character, there's a button labeled "Import". Click that, and you'll get a list of the pre-generated characters.
