HELP Needed {Most Annoying}

blazedphoenixblazedphoenix Member Posts: 17
Hi, not sure if this a bug or what but jesus it's so annoying that i might have to restart to whole game.
because i had to change from having a good clan to becoming very bad.

Basically on Chapter 2:
Anomen revenging his sister's death{which i kind of} told him to Seek revenge on Saerk which he does and kills everybody. Which then makes both Aerie and Keldorn both leave the party. And then to make things worse you end up having random attacks from Amonian Legionaire's accompanied by a few Wizards, which appear randomly every so often
. The only way to get rid off them is 2 keep killing them {which are pretty damn hard} or rest. So annoying i feel like breaking the pc.

Is their a way to stop them from coming?

You screwed Anomen's quest by choosing the evil path, now you are suffering for your own folly, which is entirely deserved.
Deal with it. And maybe next time don't be so foolish.
Long explanation: You killed the civillians in the house, dropped your rep to 2 which caused the good characters to leave and summoned the paladins to smite yo' evil ass! BLAM!

Actually i have not. Where is he again? Please don't say in the Temple district lol because i ended up recruiting Dorn and going on a mass slaughter in that building. Also Anomen left my party

@Sylvus_Moonbow‌ turning AI off stops banter? I've never heard that...

Those Amonian Soldiers appear every 2 minutes though? This is what i mean. It's usually impossible to do tasks especially in Bridge and Docks area where they summon constantly for no apparent reason.

If your reputation is at 2 then just pay 400, then 300, then 200, then 200, then 100. Don't just pay the full amount all at once.

Oh dear. I think you've been trying to balance things a bit unusually if you've done Dorn's (rather evil) quest and also had Keldorn in your party.

Probably the most enjoyable way to play Baldur's Gate and BG2 is to pick a role for your character and try and stick to it. If they're a do-gooder then killing innocents is definitely out. If you're a mercenary type then make sure that anyone asking you to complete a quest can pay well.

A lot of more modern RPGs allow you to carry out pretty evil actions without repercussions (like the Daedric quests in Skyrim) but oldschool ones like Baldur's Gate and Planescape: Torment tend to give you hefty consequences to bad behaviour.

@meagloth you haven't? Would that make me wrong?

@Sylvus_Moonbow‌ possibly. Depends on if you're right or not.

Well, it seems like the reputation table has been changed for BG:EE. The above source I posted previously was from the Baldur's Gate Wiki site.

The manual shows the following donations.

    Reputation 1 / Donate 1500gp
    Reputation 2 / Donate 1200gp
    Reputation 3 / Donate 1000gp
    Reputation 4 / Donate 1000gp
    Reputation 5 / Donate 500gp
    Reputation 6 / Donate 400gp
    Reputation 7 / Donate 200gp
    Reputation 8 / Donate 300gp
    Reputation 9 / Donate 400gp

Yea I was thinking those numbers seemed really low.

Assuming these numbers are right then to get to a reputation of 6 you pay 1500, then 1200, then 1000, then 1000, then 500.

Its been awhile since I've done this and normally I don't care myself too much about the amounts but I could be wrong about you not being able to just pay a fixed sum and have it raise by the appropriate amount.

Excellent, brave warrior @blazedphoenix, now you just have to behave yourself.
Or at least get stronger before you misbehave in the future.
