Yaga Shura's invincibility

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hi everyone!

So here's my trouble : I've completed the quest to remove Yaga Shura's invincibility, and I have the corresponding entry in my journal. Yet when I travel to the siege camp he still has those 2 green globes of light around him and nothing I do hurts him. Also I read that when you arrive at the siege camp you're supposed to get a message stating that Saradush has fallen, which I didn't get.

Has anyone any clue on what I might've missed?

    I don't think you missed anything. Do you still have the autosave from before entering the siege camp? Try entering again.

    AFAIR there is a bug if you click through the dialogue with his dear mom too quickly it doesn't change his status. Do you have a savegame from before that conversation in the swamp?

    You can still kill him as a mindflayer I think. There are some discussions on this in the bugs section, I think there was also a workaround with the console.
