Watcher's Keep available in ToB?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Just a quick question, is Watcher's Keep still available to go to in ToB? And if I've already been someway through it, will I be able to return to that point? I currently stuck right before the imprisoned ones chamber fighting a fight that spawns when you put the key in the top left key hole and I need to go and level up a bit but I've done all the quests. Also if anyone knows how to beat them, please do tell.

    Honestly, I find the battle with Demogorgon to be incredibly disappointing, but then I tend to have a steady supply of Devas from Mazzy as well as Carsomyr + IWA - I believe it is even possible to solo him with a Cavalier without much difficulty, so long as you have enough Rods of Resurrection and the right magical items (Book of True Sight, for instance).
