the black pits 2. need help with tier 3 battle 4 ( possable spoilers )

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
i have been trying for quite some time to beat the rakshasa in this fight. worse than that i have not actually been able to damage the 3 more powerful ones (the other 3 fall quite quickly). i have tried magic and weapons (up to +5). i have looked through the battle log and found no spells that i cant beat so im at a loss of what to do. has anyone got any advice for me?

    Do you have an inquisitor? They make this fight easy-mode.

    Otherwise the problem is the rakshasa cast protection spells and are immune to breach, so you kind of have to wait them out.

    no inquisitor unfortunately it may be time for haste and run around the map for a while. thanks

    You can also learn time stop + imprisonment and the fight is done

    thanks for the help in the end it seemed i missed the quite obvious remove magic spell ....

    Does it go through their immunity? It's only a 3rd level spell, right?

    yeh it worked wonders and they didn't last long after that

    reading the spells description its chance to work is based on the level of the caster vs the level of the caster that created the effect being dispelled
