Maximum Hell Trial Bonuses?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Hello. I am thinking of doing a replay of my party once I'm finished with the game, but I can't help but wonder how many times you can get the bonuses from the Hell Trials before it says something like 'cannot benefit further' or something like that. Does anyone know the limits?

On another note, will my bonuses (+1 or lower immunity, etc.) still be on my character if I import it into BGEE?

    I think 25 in a characteristic is the limit (Str, Int, etc). Other than that, I don't think you can reach any other limit in the Hell Trials.
