Recommended MODs for BG1:EE and BG2:EE (iPad)

Ok, so I have decided to jailbreak my iPad and enter the group of people being blown away (usually to pieces followed by a reload) from SCS. Once I am down this road, I don´t see why I would not try a couple more so:

1) Which MODs are recommended and compatible with SCS? (I have heard great things about that MOD that adds dialogs in BG:EE with party NPCs and about ascension)

2) Is there any known issue/problem with modding the iPad? More lag? more crashes? Or if you jailbreak everything goes smoothly?

Thanks!

It goes mostly well, you could have some slowdowns but not much else.
    What I recommend:
-BG2 tweaks from G3, you can use some options to make the game much more difficult (max HP for all creatures)
    -aTweaks
    -RR.

@CrevsDaak‌ thanks for the info! Good to know it works :-)

Now, anybody has some favourite MODs to recommend? :-)

BG1NPC (the mod that has NPC interaction, romances, and interjections everywhere) is probably the ultimate mod for BG1, and there is a beta that is compatible with BG:EE.

The problem is, of course, it is a beta... which can and unfortunately will mean occasional game bugs, like enemies that won't die and conversations that repeat over and over. On an ipod, you can't just fix this with CLUAConsole, so I'm hesitant to recommend it for someone using an ipod unless you have the ability to easily switch your save to a computer version and console out problems. Once it's out of beta, though, it'll be a definite 'must install'.

Over at Gibberlings3, Jatsey has made a series of Baldur's Gate Quests and Mini-Encounters. The BG1EE compatible version is only on the forums right now, but it's really a gem- just a few new quests, with all your companions interjecting and talking as wanted.

For NPC mods, one of my favorites is Isra at Spellhold Studios, a paladin who you have to recruit before the Nashkel Mines on a good or neutral protagonist who'll then stick with you for the whole saga. She's well done, has a series of friendship talks, and banters with the EE NPCs. On the other side of the morality range, there's also Vynd, an evil drow assassin. He's also a lot of fun (and banters with the EE NPCs, too), but you'll only find his download hidden somewhere on these forums: he sort of had a 'soft' release rather then a major one on the G3.

    Those are BG1 mods.

BG2 has a much longer list of mods compatible for it. If you're still interested and I can find this topic again (I imagine someone will move it to the modding forums soon), I'll try to make a list of my personal favorites.

@MacHurto‌ I edited my post after you posted that comment :P and I didn't get a Notification also.
    I would also recommend:
-The wandcase mod by Mortianna (link: http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/22472)
-The item upgrade mod by Weimer.

and after compatible versions are made:
    -Ascension.
    -Divine Remix.

Bg2 gui for bg1 works well on Ipad, the latest tablet version works flawlessly on my Ipad. Bg1:ee gui looked ugly to me after bg2's flowery one so this mod was born:

This difficulty enhancer mod does many things, adding new monsters/spawns to areas, toughens up old monsters, adds a random loot chance of unique magical items being dropped (like diablo2), edits stores, some spells, some mages use higher lvl magics now (higher than scs allows for bg1) I contributed to the mod and it is to be installed after a scs installation. It is like an expansion to scs and is for who want even more challenge and new, random encounters/treasures after beating scs.
