    If they're contractually obligated to not mess with the original content then that means there's unlikely to be any interaction between the two characters?

    Banter with the new characters is allowed, but they can't change existing dialogue.

    Technically, they can't change what already exists, but they can put in new banters and dialogues - for example, Neera's backstory specifically mentions the Red Wizards, so something will probably happen if you put her and Edwin in the same party. I imagine Dorn will have something to say if you take him to Saradush...
