BG2 EE Cross Platform Multiplayer Issue

I got the game from Appstore and we are trying to set up a multiplayer game with my PC user buddy. It doesn't work because of the version differences. The game was promised to be xplatform that is why i paid for it.
What do you propose to solve this problem?

    Sorry to tell you the news but multiplayer is only just getting stable for BGEE on pcs only aswell and BG2EE's multiplayer isn't really stable at all with more than 2-3 people. So this issue? I'm guessing your gonna have to wait a good while.
