Don't know if it has been asked or allowed But having access to the higher level heal spells at the temples. eg when you go to the temples in bg2 you can be healed with the heal spell and cure critical among others. shouldn't the priests at the temples in bg1 have access to those spells as well?

Resurrection wipes 8 years off the caster's life and prevents further spell casting for a full week in both the caster and recipient. Not to mention taking off 1 constitution from the recipient just like raise dead is also supposed to.
Restoration knocks 5 years off their life and prevent further spell-casting for 24 hours in both the caster and recipient due to extreme fatigue. (and greater restoration doesn't even exist in PnP because normal restoration is already a 7th level spell).
Critical Wounds isn't too far out of the realm of possibility, but the odds that the cleric could cast more then 1 or 2 per day is unlikely. Heal is pretty rare though as very few clerics ever get that high of level, and the ones that do rarely work in temples.
If it were properly implemented, you'd have to go on some epic/arduous quest in the name of that temple's deity in order to earn the right get a Resurrection or Restoration spell (every time you needed one, though the quests wouldn't be quite as ridiculous if you've already proven yourself several times before), or be a member of their clergy in high standing (which means you're doing those sorts of mission almost weekly anyway).
Very few people go beyond lvl 8-10, especially those who tend to work around temples due to lack opportunities for high amounts of xp gain (it's like trying to level off the amount of xp you get for killing 3-4 gnolls, but spread over the course of a week). Most temples are run by lower ranking acolytes with access only to around 2-3rd level spells on average and usually one or two high priests with up to 4-5th level. The most powerful members of the clergy usually can't waste their life on powerful spells.
Due to the debilitating effects of high level magics on the body, very few casters live very long after lvl 10, barring some extra-ordinary circumstances, and they tend to wield their power sparingly and only for the most important of objectives. (And since the gods of Faerun aren't allowed to directly meddle in the affairs of the Bhaalspawns, they can't show favoritism by letting you get high end healing from their servants without working for it like someone else would).
