Bank system or safe container

if I leave my items in a container say for example at Arm In will they dissapear after a while?. is there a safe bank mechanism in this game?

I have never had anything disappear from the chest near Dorn, on the first floor of the Friendly Arms. It must be unlocked first, of course.

You should be good with any chest or barrel in either game.
