Rasaad Quest after Ambush issue

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
I was in the sequence after the return to Candlekeep when Rasaads ambush triggered. I haven't gotten the next phase of the quest though. Since I was busily evading, I may not have looted the bodies, though I don't recall.

What is supposed to trigger the next part?

    There's something about a guy you have to find in a tavern (Blade & Stars, I think). It should have said something about him; it's been a while, but I think there was a note about him on one of the bodies.
