Has anyone ever tried a "no stealing" playthrough?

    The thing is that ... Algernon was very rude to Imoen once when he was a guest at Winthrop's Inn... So it's not really stealing!! Other than that I generally go for one big score in Nashkel with a certain Potion of Master Thievery, mostly as an expression of disagreement with Devs about all the Xvarts, Gnolls, Kobolds, Gibberling, Tasloi and doggies in the game. Yuck!

    By sometimes cracking the game financially at that point I assert my freedom to reimagine BG at a much deeper level than Devs cared to explore. It is kind of like my own personal deal with the game that allows me to put up with a lot of discouraging nonsense [Such as the Aloe Vera comment when the actual leader of Jaheira's Druid sect is.....!?!? ] for the sake of it's many successes.

    So I don't think a No-Steal play-through, except at places like Bandit Camp, would be much different than my normal routing. I would just kill off a few more White Wolves and Ankhegs...no biggie!
