Rasaad romance ended.. Why? *Spoliers*

After the whole killing Bodhi section of the game, Rasaad initiated dialouge as soon as we left her crypt. I can't remember exactly but he was basically going on about how he needed to end the romance to focus on killing Alorgoth. No matter what dialouge choices I picked the outcome seemed to be the same. I figured it was actually part of the romance and that we would hook up again after that quest in ToB. But guess what, just finished that one and we are still not in a romance and I have no idea where I went wrong. The romance is set to 3 which is, umm, not a good sign I guess. My earliest save with this party is from just before we're about to enter the tree of life and fight Irenicus. Will the romance work again if I go back there and set it to 2?
