changed Jan to Fig/illus/thief

I read that changing Jan through modding to a fighter/mage/thief made him very powerful. But seems Jan can't use his gear once the fighter class aspect comes in. Is it worth it?

I dont think so, he will be a worse mage, and mages trump fighters pretty hard in soa even, let alone tob!

could be fun in a smaller party, but not power gamer imho.

Why not mod his gear too? All you need is DLTCEP and a few minutes of time. Load the item in question, go to the usability tab and hit select all. Save the item into the override folder.

I am curious, what exactly it would add to the mix? He doesn't have the strength to be very powerful in HtH without spells and magic items. He would advance a bit slower than he already does. The extra hit points might be nice, but is it worth the trade off?

As have been mentioned here by both @DreadKhan and @the_spyder making Jan a F/I/T would actually make him weaker instead of stronger. His stats does not belong to a fighter and he'll be just as useless in close combat as he is right now, and you'll end up leveling slower in your mage class which is where he gets powerful.
