Suggestions For MP Party =D

So my brother and I started our MP playthrough and we were wondering who we should take with us for a decent party. We're both of Good Alignment and our characters are as follows:

Myself: Gnome Illusionist/Thief - Neutral Good
STR: 10
DEX: 18
CON: 18
INT: 19
WIS: 12
CHA: 18

Short Sword *
Crossbow *

My Brother: Human Priest of Lathander - Lawful Good
STR: 18
DEX: 18
CON: 18
INT: 10
WIS: 18
CHA: 10

Warhammer *
Sword & Shielf Style *
GANGNAM STYLE ************* :P

I know those are very good roles we might try the 75 Challenge or something like that for a next playthrough as evil, but we wanted an easy time through our first run together. Seeing as we have Thief, Mage and Healer covered, we need a front line I guess.

Ajantis (I think his name is) is a fairly strong character for front-line combat. You can find him short ways north of friendly arm inn. Minsc is another good character that can take some punishment and deal plenty in return, but ya'll need Dynaheir with him.

@SethWinternight Sounds pretty solid except for Dynaheir. Maybe she has an "unfortunate" accident... myes... myes! The only problem I'd have taking Dynaheir along is that I would not have a 2nd Robe of the Good Archmagi for her and since my character's stats are stacked I would definitely have a hard time giving her the robe over my character.

Maybe Xan instead? I've read that Ajantis and Xan don't like each other, but i'm not certain if they will fight one another. I know his CON is super low, but it's not a huge deal for me cause I control the back line and my brother controls the front line so he always goes in first after we cast bless, haste, etc.

Currently we are still at Beregost and we have with us: Khalid, Jaheira, Imoen and Kivan (which I now realize we have grabbed WAY too early).

Xan is actually a fairly good character; a decent mage and has an alright personal weapon. If you wanted to have more drama in your party while you quest along, then taking him along with Xan is always fun.

Keep Kivan, but replace khalid with Ajantis, Imoen with Xan and Jaheira with either Yeslick or Branwen

@sethwinternight I do appreciate the help dude! Ajantis does look very solid he'd prolly be getting the dex gloves seeing he'd have the lowest Dex of the party and prolly give the strength ones to either my brother's character or Kivan.

The thing is also, if you give the dex gloves to yeslick, he becomes an even better frontliner than ajantis.

@eatwhatever BG:EE we are just doing a playthrough for the two of use atm. We don't usually have much time to play together so it would not be at regular times that we could set in advance and/or it would probably get cancelled a lot if we did.

@eatwhatever yes unfortunately I wouldn't want to set a time then continuously cancel on you. Our schedules change without notice sometimes due to work, baby, etc.
