Rolling (Keepering) non-standard races... Advice please!

So, I'm planning to run Murdo, a Neutral Evil Dwarf Bounty Hunter.
Generally a mean cove, chasing an easy buck.

I'd like to keeper him to be a Duergar, to make him even more disreputable, but I'm unsure what changes to make to represent his race (other than the obvious cosmetic differences)...

(For instance, with a Drow, I'd raise innate magic resistance.)

Can any FR Loremasters advise me on how best to implement?

Feel free to discuss similar changes for other races too. :)

I know in NWN2, Duergars are immune to poison and paralysis... But I'm loth to just add these without something like the daylight penalty or level adjustment to counter-balance.

Duergar are naturally immune to poison, paralization and illusion (permanent True Sight) and have an innate bonus of +4 to saves vs spells. They can also cast invisibility once per day.

I don't know about their stats though.

All of which are awesome and relatively simple to do... But it's really a way to balance it that I'm looking for.

It's always hard to balance these kind of characters. I think the best would be to simply ignore balance (it isn't gamebreaking) and to focus on your immersion.

You could also keep your reputation to a very low level (using EE:Keeper or killing innocent) to keep prices high and bounty hunters tracking you to reflect how dispised your character should be.

You could put a stat penalty when in sunlight? Very low charisma actually changes the game a bit.

I'd like to do something very much along those lines... But I'm unsure which part of the eekeeper setup would control this?

(Agree that gimped Charisma is pretty weak as penalties go!)

Is it possible to assign negative resistances? If so, then maybe a penalty vs fire could represent his fear/dislike for warmth/sun...

Probably. The belt of antipode does that. Also, I was saying that 1-4 charisma is more of a penalty than you would expect. Kivan, for example, won't join your party. He's just like "I ain't got time for joo" and I think you miss out on some quests.
