Is there a way to find traps faster

I find it really annoying to wait for like five seconds after every few feet so that find traps will have a chance to find some traps. Is there a way to speed this up to make it instantaneous? Thanks.

    I think that's hardcoded. There is a cleric spell that can find traps, but it works similar to the Find Traps skill of thieves.

    If you're annoyed about traps (and locks) in general, the BG2 Tweak Pack component "No Traps or Locks" may come in handy. You'll miss out the XP from disarming traps however. The mod supports both BG:EE and BG2:EE.

    Well I'd like to have the traps; I just want it to be more convenient.
