Mundane Armor vs. Magic Armor

Do other people use mundane armor with with rings/amulets/cloaks of protection instead of the magic armor equivalent because of the bonus to saves? It would be nice if magic armors included the bonus to saves that you are getting from the rings/amulets/cloaks that you are restricted from wearing with them.

    As a player of Fighters, I prefer to keep my saves up, so I usually run with mundane armor and a ring, amulet, or cloak. Mundane armor matches the Helm of Defense better, anyway, though the Helm of Balduran looks great with Anhkeg Plate.

    Of course, once I get my hands on the Claw of Kazgaroth, all bets are off and I can pretty much wear any gear I want.
