Friend can't access Beamdog.net Protocol

Hello, my friend is having an issue where they can't access Beamdog.net. Every time they try to change the protocol they get some kind of error message saying can't connect.

I have seen many people having the same problem but I have never faced such issues. Can someone offer some advice?

    Why don't you use TCP/IP then? It's much more stable anyway

    I would love to use TCP/IP as I have this exact issue, but sadly not all of us are tech mages and have tried for an hour to do the port forwarding.
    We attempted another protocol, and after that have not been able to go back onto beamdog.net with the above message. Maybe @Nathan‌ has ideas? Or @Eleros‌ knows how to set up TCP/IP on two iPads going through the same BTHub3 router?

    Very annoying issue as we have a game saved that's quite a way through SoA and don't wish to lose it.
