exporting from single player to multiplayer with gear.

just like the tittle says im looking to figure out how to export my thief from single player on to a multiplayer server with all his gear and what not. I loaded it up one time and cruzed around the compound you start in but I never found my gear. Any suggestions are welcome!:)
