Korgan Book of Kaza Dialogue Bug

I've looked over the forums and internet, and played with EEKeeper, but I can't fix a dialogue bug where Korgan mentions the Crypt looks to be looted already, every time I load a save. He has the book in his inventory, and hasn't died. This also stops me from saving the game.
I've tried reloading to the entrance of the Southern Lower Tomb, before reaching the raided Tomb of Kaza, then completing the quest (via the temple district) but that didn't help either.
Please help me fix this game breaking issue as I can't continue.

    Attaching 2 saves, both with the same issue.
    5 is my current game with the issue

    Korgan in your saves seem corrupt somehow. I can't get any LOCALS for him to stick through a save/reload cycle. Anyone have a good idea how to correct?

    Try adding him to your party. Kill him and resurrect. Seem better after that.

    A quick test looks like resurrecting Korgan will give my game a second life. Thanks a lot Hook!
