Journal entries for new npc quests

Hello, i have noticed that for the new npc's, there are many journal logs in the 'Info' section rather then the 'quest' section.

This feels different to vanilla BG2 where the only journal entries into Info, were stuff dealing with the main story plotline (irenicus, bhaal).

Is this intentional or an oversight?
