Are there any traps in the city of Baldur's gate?

I've dualed Imoen and she's only about 15kxp away from getting her thief levels back. Currently, I have Safana as my thief until she does. I only just started Baldur's Gate City and think I can get her there by the time I'm done. However, I can't remember if I need a trap monkey for anything in the city itself (maybe the sewers). If not, I'd rather cut Safana loose now as she is dead weight otherwise. Anyone recall any traps during BG city quests? Thanks.

    Yes and no. Only in Chapter 7, but none that I recall (besides some in the Thieves' Guild's containers) now.

    The only traps which I recall from BG city are the ones found at chests (specially during the thief guild quests) , none of them were lethal, though.

    Other than that I can recall traps in a dresser and a bedside in the second floor of a house in SW BG, and IIRC the sleeping man in there is linked to a quest...

    I don't recall any and dudleyville doesn't mention any, but anything is possible.

    Hey, I could be wrong. Or maybe I am thinking BG2? Either way...
