Rasaad Quest Won't Start and Other Issues (Spoilers)

Basically, Rasaad's being very obnoxious.

I just recently got to Baldur's Gate, and while I was exploring the city, Rasaad's quest activated. I killed the monks, went to the tavern, and talked to the snitch. After agreeing to let him take me to the Dark Moon Monks, we jumped to a different part of Baldur's Gate... and nothing happened. I stood around and waited for awhile, wandered around a bit. He said they met at the Seven Suns place, so I went in there and ended up doing the whole doppelganger quest, but when I went back outside, something was wrong with Rasaad.

When I tell the party to go somewhere, most of the time he'll only make part of the trip before stopping as if he's done. Even his little circle is gone in the formation. How much he'll travel varies: sometimes he'll make most of the trip without me having to reclick, other times he'll go maybe two or three in-game feet before stopping. It's really irritating, especially when I tell the party to go aways away from the starting point and realize that Rasaad didn't make it a foot away from where he was.

The next part of his quest still hasn't activated.

Party:
Myself (Dual-wielding fighter)
Imoen
Minsc
Dynaheir
Branwen
Rasaad

Restarted the game, went back to the district where the quest is supposed to trigger at night. Quest still didn't trigger, Rasaad still only moving a few paces at a time. This is ridiculous.

Now he's gone from only moving a few paces at a time to just not fighting. It's like his AI thinks it's over and everything's cool? It has to have something to do with the fact that his quest didn't trigger (he was fine before), but I thought it would go away and just pushed on. Now I'm in the caverns under Candlekeep with a deadweight monk who just stands there and won't fight for longer than five seconds at a time...

Could you attach a saved game, please.

I'm sorry, I don't know what that means or how to do it. Could you explain?

Browse for your saved game in Documents/Baldur's Gate II Enhanced Edition/save for the saves. They are composed by the whole 000000### - Saved Game Name Example folder, zip/rar it and upload it with the Attach a file option under the comment box.

Okay, I think that's it. It's the only save left with him in it; right after that save, I kicked him because I got to the part where I had to run from the Flaming Fist and his bug was making it really, really difficult.

Looks like C:SetGlobal("SORREM_SEVEN_SUNS","GLOBAL",4) will stop the stuttering. You can continue Rasaad's quest with C:CreateItem("RSNOTE2") to get Sorrem's Note.

I've never actually done anything like that. How do I do it?

Have a look at this thread for instructions on how to activate the console.

    So I got the console activated, but when I type in: C:SetGlobal("SORREM_SEVEN_SUNS","GLOBAL"4), it says: lua: syntax error;
    > last token read: "4" at line 1 in file (dostring) >> C:SetGlobal("SORREM

EDIT: I got the note just fine though.

    Yay, I figured out screenshots.

Here's a screenshot of the issue. I went back to where I was teleported when I first went to Sorrem, but initially tried to input it right there in the Candlekeep Caverns.

Sorry, I missed a comma before the 4. I've edited the command above.
